The winners of the 10th Steelie Awards were announced at the Annual Dinner of the World Steel Association (worldsteel) on 14 October. The Steelie Awards recognise member companies or individuals for their contribution to the steel industry over a one-year period. The Steelies are awarded in seven categories.

Excellence in education and training – Ternium, Roberto Rocca Technical School in Pesquería (Nuevo León, Mexico)
Journalist of the year – Paul LIM, Fastmarkets
