Recently, the world’s first flexible, connected BIPV (Building-Integrated Photovoltaics) color-coated roof project, jointly developed by Baosteel, Center Int, and LONGi Green Energy was successfully installed in Hangzhou.
By validating the potential of photovoltaic building materials and the integration of architecture and energy, this project provides a building-level solution for urban carbon neutrality and reshapes the aesthetics of green architecture through cross-industry collaboration.
The project, with a total construction area of 340,000 square meters, utilizes approximately 1,100 tons of 1,500mm ultra-wide color-coated steel sheets specifically designed for BIPV, produced by Baosteel Wuhan Iron and Steel.
