The worldsteel LCA eco-profiles refer to the life cycle assessment results for steel products published by the World Steel Association.
They aim to provide transparent communication of life cycle-related environmental indicators on a global and annual basis. All presented impact assessment results build on the worldsteel Life Cycle Inventory Methodology Report 2017 and will be described in further detail in the upcoming worldsteel 2022 LCI Study Report.
The eco-profiles are valid either for the building and infrastructure (construction) sector or other sectors, including: automotive, other transport, packaging, mechanical equipment, electrical equipment and domestic appliances.
