Baosteel powers world’s first intelligent aquaculture vessel “Zhanjiang Bay-1” with customized steel solutions

Recently, the world’s first dynamically-positioned floating aquaculture vessel with full-coverage cage systems, “Zhanjiang Bay-1”, was successfully launched.

This “smart marine ranch” has an aquaculture capacity of 80,000 m³ – equivalent to the combined water volume of 32 Olympic-sized swimming pools. All steel materials for this project were supplied by Baosteel Zhanjiang Iron & Steel.
