World crude steel production for the 64 countries reporting to worldsteel was 154.4 million tonnes (Mt) in January 2020, a 2.1% increase compared to January 2019.
Global crude steel production reached 1,869.9 million tonnes (Mt) for the year 2019, up by 3.4% compared to 2018.
