worldsteel has carried out an extensive mapping exercise in 2024 of around 80 organisations to help understand the similarities between each approach as well as areas for possible future alignment.
worldsteel, together with its members, has developed a set of Guidelines to provide transparency and clarity on the application of chain of custody approaches within the steel industry. These guidelines supplement the Principles that were published in April.
