LCA Conference 2025

The second worldsteel Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) conference took place in Qingdao, China from 9 to 11 July 2025. The conference was jointly organised by the World Steel Association (worldsteel) and HBIS Group, and was hosted by Dahe Metal.

This conference focused on the life cycle assessment (LCA) of steel products and the systematic innovation of the value chain, aiming to promote the green transformation of the steel industry, efficient resource utilisation, and the coordinated innovation and development of the upstream and downstream of the value chain.
